Urban planner at GanzAfrica (Deadline : 16/04/2026)
Are you an urban planner? Do you have proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial
analysis techniques? Do you possess knowledge of Rwanda’s land use and management
framework including urban planning principles, and infrastructure planning?
GanzAfrica is looking for candidates with an MSc or BSc in Urban Planning, Environmental
Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geography, Geo-information Science, Spatial Planning,
Urban Economics and related fields to support its partners work in Rwanda.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:
🎯 Demonstrate integrity and good attitude.
🎯 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
🎯 Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
🎯Ability to synthesize complex spatial data into clear, actionable insights.
🎯Experience in preparing professional maps (suitability maps, urban expansion
concept plans), reports, and presentations.
🎯Team-oriented with capacity to work across disciplines.
