R&D Director at EarthEnable
🌍 We’re hiring an R&D Director at EarthEnable Rwanda.
This is a rare opportunity to lead applied research that directly changes how rural families live, designing earthen floors, plasters, and homes that are healthier, more durable, and a fraction of the cost of concrete.
You’ll head a team of ~10 engineers and scientists, set the R&D agenda, build university and industry partnerships, and work at the frontier of sustainable construction in Africa.
We’re looking for someone with:
✅ 5–10 years’ experience leading R&D or design teams
✅ A Master’s or PhD in materials science, structural engineering, earthen construction, or related field
✅ An entrepreneurial spirit and genuine love of problem-solving in the field
📍 Based in Rwanda | Relocation support available
💰 RWF 4,000,000 – 5,000,000 monthly gross
