Technical Services Manager
Wilderness Rwanda Magashi Concession.
Do you have technical competencies for a hospitality remote area?
Are you someone who can oversee daily maintenance & mechanical operations for Magashi Concession, in Akagera National Park?
If so, Wilderness invites you to take on the role of Technical Services Manager.
We seek someone who will oversee the daily operations of the Maintenance and Mechanical Department of Wilderness Rwanda, Magashi Concession in Akagera National Park, ensuring effective delivery of both planned maintenance and reactive repairs, while managing company assets and supervising technical staff.
Main responsibilities for the Technical Services Manager:
- Ensure regular inspections and maintenance tasks to enable proper functioning of facilities, including mechanical engineering, vehicle maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, solar system, generator, refrigeration equipment, swimming pool and general building upkeep.
- Conduct periodic meetings with all team members to ensure effective task allocation is done and communication is recorded accordingly.
- In agreement with the Concession Manager, assist in any undergoing project involving Magashi concession team.
- Manage maintenance team and actively work with them to get all assignments done effectively.
- Assist Management with the EMS recording online.
- Ensure preventive services & repairs for vehicles and boats, when necessary, in a cost effective and safe way.
- Put in place preventive & maintenance measures for generators, electrical boards, solar plant and solar geysers.
- Manage back of house, concession facility systems and coordination of camp hands team.
- Facilitate training, capacity building to the maintenance & mechanical team and lead by example.
- Adhere to the environmental management standards.

Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field is an added advantage.
- Having specialized on Air conditioning and refrigeration is an added advantage.
- Computer literate: MS Office word and excel
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical services especially mechanical and maintenance operations.
- Experience in car driving with driver’s license, Category B
