Invitation for prequalification for the supply and installation of furniture at The National Bank of Rwanda (NBR) (Deadline : 05/05/2026)

The National Bank of Rwanda (NBR) invites eligible and specialised companies to submit their

applications for prequalification for the supply, delivery, and installation of furniture at its premises

located in Kigali, Rwanda. The objective of this prequalification process is to identify competent

bidders who will be invited to participate in subsequent bidding process for the above-mentioned

tender. The required goods include office, ECD and lounge furniture. Refer to https://shorturl.at/RLOEI

Interested companies ought to submit documentation demonstrating their relevant experience and

financial capacity including: (i) application for prequalification and power of attorney, (ii) certificate of

incorporation/registration in the field and company profile, (iii) manufacturers and/or distributors’

authorization, (iv) at least three references in the field for the last five years from public/private

institutions of an amount equivalent to at least eight hundred million Rwandan Francs each proven by

certificates of good completion from previous clients, (v) financial statements for the last two years that

include balanced sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, (vi) and declaration of any

ongoing or past litigation.

Applications will be evaluated based on compliance with the aforementioned requirements, including

demonstrated technical and financial capacity. A shortlist of up to eight (8) companies will be

established. In the event that more than eight applicants meet the minimum requirements, those with

the highest level of relevant, verifiable experience will be prioritized in accordance with the

requirements set forth in this invitation.

Applications for prequalification should be submitted to the email: procurement@bnr.rw not later than

5 th May 2026 at 5:00 pm local time. Late applications may be rejected. Only prequalified bidders will

be invited to submit their detailed technical and financial offers.
