Subject: Invitation to bid for the construction of a compost development facility and composite performance test in Gatsibo Cell, Butaro Sector, Burera District.

ARECO-RWANDA NZIZA, in partnership with Burera District, is implementing the “Increasing food production and livelihood improvement in the Kamiranzovu marshland, Burera District Project” (Kungahara Burera Project), funded by the European Union.
As part of this initiative, ARECO-RWANDA NZIZA intends to award a contract for the construction of a compost development facility in Butaro Sector, Burera District.
This facility will strengthen sustainable farming practices by promoting organic soil fertility management, reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers, and enhancing crop yields for local farmers. It is also expected to contribute to environmental protection and improve farmers’ incomes through better agricultural productivity.
Tender documents may be obtained by email at info@arecorwandanziza.org upon proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of RWF 10,000 to GT Bank account No. 212/155616/1/5101/0, opened under the name of ARECO-RWANDA NZIZA.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 04 March 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Gatsibo Cell, Butaro Sector.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes (one original and three copies) and one electronic copy on a flash disk) on 18th March 2026 between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at ARECO-RWANDA NZIZA Head Office. Bid opening will take place the same day at 12:30 p.m. Late bids will not be accepted.
