INTRODUCTION.
Rural Environment and Development Organization (REDO) is local NGO founded in 1999 and since its inception has been working to implement environmental conservation activities in the form of community livelihood improvement and advocating for the development of the community.
REDO’s Mission.
The mission of REDO is to empower the poor communities especially the Historically Marginalized People to actively participate in improving their livelihood conditions by working towards poverty eradication and improving food security and access to markets that provides poor women and men opportunities for economic and social advancement whilst in parallel instilling on environment protection from grass roots, through a participatory sustainable approach..

Under the financial support from Rwanda Green Fund (RGF), REDO is implementing the project entitled ” Promoting climate smart agriculture for food security and climate resilience in Bugesera distict.”
With this project 150 Small holder’s farmers will be supported to install small scale hillside solar powerd irrigation system on 15ha in Rweru sector, to better mitigate the impact of drought and enhance agriculture productivity.
REDO hereby invites national bidders for Supply and Installation of Solar panel: 280 watt Participation to the competition is open on equal conditions to all companies specializing in the field of Supply and Installation of Solar panel: 280 watt align with Construction of 480m3 fenced dams.

Instructions to Bids:
NB: Participation to the competition is open on equal opportunities and conditions to all companies, individuals with TIN Number.
- RDB registration certificate (matching the field)
- Valid Tax clearance certificate,
- Valid RSSB Certificate
- Referees or references certificates of similar tenders executed (At least three)
- Bid security of 5% of the total cost of the bid
Other Requirements:
- Detailed company profile,
- Your quotation should remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of submission.
- Indicating the Delivery Period
- To have a workshop for irrigation material and solar panels demonstration.
- Proven experience of five years of similar activities in project area.
- Accept to give at least 12 months of liability period for following the functionality solar system at non cost
- Accept a warrant period of 2 years for Protecting the invested solar equipment, Giving peace of mind for long-term use, Indicating manufacturer quality & trustworthiness, and Helping as well to resolve issues without extra cost during the warranty period.
