Job Description
- Take the rooms out of order from the Asst. Chief Engineer and take as well the repair orders given from him. To execute the required repairs and maintenance.
- Check all the rooms and repair it, with regard to Carpentry, Electricity, plumbing, painting, polishing, and A/C.
- In case of any major repair in the rooms, it must be reported to the Asst. Chief Engineer.
- In the guest rooms, the policy of the hotel must be strictly applied during the work.
- Do any other work is assigned to you by the Asst. Chief Engineer or the senior Shift Engineer.
- The toolbox should be always ready.
- Do not leave the bleep. It must always be ready.To replace any technician during his absence (Electrician, Plumber, Gen. Mechanic, A/C Technician, Welder, Painter, Polisher, Carpenter) according to the operation requirements and as per the Assistant Chief Engineer.
- You will be a member of the intervention team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels.
- Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies.
- An individual who enjoys working in dynamic environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual and reliable.
- Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts including weekend work
