PMO Manager – Transformation Projects at Qatar Airways (Deadline : 23/03/2026)

Based in Kilgali, Rwanda you will be responsible to oversee the initiation, planning, implementation, monitoring and closure of all projects of the Advisory Office, from inception until delivery.

Key responsibilities will include
· Developing a project management model that supports rapid deployment and scalability of high-value initiatives.
· Supporting the execution of transformation projects, collaborating with the workstream lead to ensure that strategies are co-created, implemented effectively, and continuously improved.
· Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and as planned.
· Employing data analytics and reporting to communicate project results/evaluations to inform decision-making.
· Drafting and oversee the production of communications tools for any event, including reports, presentations, video and social media output, related to Transformation Office.
· Develop a risk register with mitigation plans and highlight all risks to Transformation lead at the relevant forum including the SteerCo.
· Supporting the team in the delivery of the transformation strategy for all workstreams.
· Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies including business cases and approval committees, to ensure smooth transitions and high adoption of new processes and systems.
· Design and deliver an enterprise-wide roadmap including scope definition and timelines.
· Identifying transformational initiatives and ensuring alignment to the Technical Service Agreement.
· Conducting analysis to determine key transformation gaps and develop state blueprints.
· Supporting the team as the business partner for measuring and tracking of initiatives against business plans.
· Developing a transformation model that supports rapid deployment and scalability of high-value initiatives.

Qualifications
The successful person will have the following:
· Minimum 5 years of PMO experience in business transformation, innovation and operational strategy within medium to large multinational organizations.
· Proven experience in managing projects within complex organizations. Excellent knowledge of project management processes, planning and budget management.
· Project Management certification (Lean Six Sigma, Prince2, PMP or equivalent) and expertise using project management tools eg: Asana, ClickUp, Kanban
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
· Ability to influence at various levels within the organization, proven project delivery and change management delivery experience up to executive level.
