INTRODUCTION
CES Consulting Engineers Salzgitter GmbH is an independent consulting engineering company with worldwide experience based in Braunschweig, Germany. CES offers solutions to complex multidisciplinary engineering tasks for all civil engineering and related sectors. CES renders services ranging from preliminary investigations to construction supervision and cost controlling, training of the clients‘ staff, advisory services in the operation and maintenance of installations, as well as the organization and strengthening of public authorities and institutions. CES works mainly in the field of development cooperation and implements infrastructure projects for national high-end clients (ministries and line authorities) funded by international donors.
For a current TVET project in Rwanda we are looking for an experienced International Team Leader (f/m/d).
PROJECT
The project includes the rehabilitation and/ or extension of selected TVET schools/ college buildings, workshops and boarding facilities; the supply of consumables and training materials; and the setup of a national scholarship scheme. The purpose of the project is is to increase the overall number of TVET graduates and in particular the share of female graduates, graduates with disabilities and graduates from low-income families with employment-relevant skills.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- 10 years of work experience in the field
- Management of at least 2 TVET related projects of similar complexity, including construction and procurement measures
- Management of teams in min. 2 TVET projects
- Management of competitive funds in min. 1 project
- Financial management in min. 2 projects
- Fluency in English
- Working experience in Rwanda or in the region (Sub-Saharan Africa).
