General Foreman (Structure and Finishings) at Mota Engil
Ensure, with Site Management, the organization, control and monitoring of all the work to be carried out, coordinating the human and material resources assigned to it, guaranteeing the execution of the work in the foreseen manner. Act in accordance with the objectives defined by the site management, control the production of a work or several works, gather data and provide technical advice on planning and production methods, efficient, safe and profitable use of labor, materials and equipment, working methods and consequent supervision.
Job Requirements and Competencies Profile
- Technical diploma, trade qualification, or equivalent in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field;
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, including at least 10 years as General Foreman;
- Proven track record of delivering high-rise, mixed-use buildings with high-end finishings;
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience working on construction projects in Africa (essential);
- Solid knowledge in Analysis of drawings and projects;
- Fluent in English (mandatory);
- Strong HSE culture and focus;
- Leadership;
- Initiative and pro-activity;
- Negotiation and persuasion;
- Analysis and problem solving;
- Mobility availability.
