Role Overview
The Area Energy Lead will oversee, manage, and expand Spiro’s battery swapping and e-mobility infrastructure within an assigned territory or region. This role ensures operational efficiency, compliance, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Ensure optimal uptime and performance of battery swap stations.
· Monitor site performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
· Oversee preventive maintenance, safety checks, and technical troubleshooting.
Business Development & Expansion
· Identify and evaluate new sites for network expansion.
· Manage landlord relations, lease agreements, and compliance.
· Build and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders, authorities, and utility providers.
People Management
· Supervise and support Swap Executives and field operations staff.
· Conduct training, coaching, and performance reviews.
· Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork.
Customer Service
· Ensure a seamless customer experience at swap stations.
· Address customer complaints and escalations promptly.
· Collect feedback and recommend service improvements.
Compliance & Reporting
· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
· Prepare and submit operational performance and installation reports.
· Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, maintenance, and performance.
Infrastructure Deployment
· Supervise installation and commissioning of new swap stations.
· Coordinate with contractors and vendors during construction and setup.
· Liaise with utility providers for power connections and site approvals.
· Oversee the commissioning and handover of operational sites.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
· Postgraduate qualification in Project Planning & Management is an added advantage.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or infrastructure-related roles.
· Proven ability to manage distributed assets and field-based teams.
· Strong understanding of utility processes and regulatory frameworks.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
