Join Our Team as a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Location: Kenya & Rwanda
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication and reinforced concrete design.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct structural analysis using advanced software tools to assess and optimize designs.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive structural solutions.
Perform site visits and inspections to evaluate existing structures and assess their safety and stability.
Generate detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Participate in project meetings and coordinate with project managers to meet project deadlines.
Review and approve construction documents and shop drawings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering.
4-7 years of experience in steel fabrication and reinforced concrete design.
Experience as a Structural Engineer Consultant in the Steel Industry is an added advantage.
Strong command of structural steel design principles and BS 5950.
Proficiency in structural analysis and steel fabrication techniques.
Ability to work independently and deliver precise results.
