Assistant Lecturer in Irrigation and Drainage Technology – RP Gishari ( Deadline: 27/01/2026)
Job responsibilities
- Teach/Train students in areas assigned by the institution.
- Conduct lecture planning, preparation and research.
- Engage in professional and personal development.
- Engage with broader scholarly and professional community outreach activities.
- Mentor and coach junior academic staff tutorial assistants) and participate in their evaluation.
- Participate in income generating activities of the institution. Supervision and facilitation of student’s projects and mentorship Facilitate students in in the industrial attachment
- Provide professional and technical advice to the institution Conducting training needs assessment in line with the curriculum. Perform all other tasks assigned by the supervisors.
N.B: A candidate must have:
1. Transcript or Degree showing at least a second-class upper division.
2. One publication in a peer-reviewed index Journal.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Water Engineering- 0 Year of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree in Soil and Water Management- 0 Year of relevant experience
- Master’s degree in Agriculture Engineering- 0 Year of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Water Engineering- 0 Year of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Drainage- 0 Year of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering- 0 Year of relevant experience
Required certificates
- Transcript of second class upper-division
