Role Description
We are seeking a talented Designer to join our team in Kigali City, Rwanda. This is a full-time and on-site role, where the Designer will conceptualize and create innovative designs for furniture products. Key responsibilities include developing prototypes, collaborating with the production team, researching trends, and ensuring designs align with the company’s commitment to quality and functionality. The Designer will participate in design brainstorming and deliver projects within specified timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design software, such as SOLIDWORKS AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Creativity and expertise in developing prototypes and woodworking or metalworking designs
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure precision in design measurements and specifications
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings
- Knowledge of interior design, furniture trends, and sustainable design practices is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a relevant field is preferred
- Prior experience in product or furniture design is advantageous
